Tissot launches two new additions to their sport special edition lineup: the PR100 Tour de France and the PR100 La Vuelta a España , completed by standard models in the PR100 collection. These timepieces have a sleek design and minimalist aesthetics. Tissot continues its partnership with these two great races, creating timepieces that reflects people’s passion for some of the biggest cycling events in the world, as well as capturing every critical second during tight finishes.

A revisited classic, inspired by the Grand Tours and their heroes

The PR100's popularity mirrors the widespread appeal of these races, making it an ideal timepiece to celebrate the Tour de France and La Vuelta a España. The two special editions boast a case crafted from 316L stainless steel, durable and resistant, ensuring the watches maintain their appeal even under strenuous conditions.

The dials feature a thematic asphalt-grained black, reflecting the road beneath the cyclists' wheels. The design incorporates a second hand in the iconic yellow of the Tour de France or red of La Vuelta, cleverly shaped like a bicycle. The chronograph hands are similarly coloured to complement the second hand, while the small second hand matches the stainless-steel case, distinguishing timekeeping elements related to cycling in colours and regular time in metal. The black disc of the date window adds a sleek touch, aligning with the watch’s overall aesthetic.

The G10.212 chrono quartz movement within provides precision and robustness, complemented by water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters/330 feet), and visibility in low-light conditions is guaranteed by the Super-LumiNova® coating on the needle-shaped hands. The PR100's versatility is enhanced by a three-row metal bracelet with a butterfly buckle, where the middle row is brushed similarly to the outer rows—a distinctive feature compared to typical PR100 models. A secondary bi-material black strap uses the texture of bicycle handlebar grips and features colours that correspond to the specific colours of the Tour de France or La Vuelta, providing a comfortable and symbolic alternative that easily transitions between different looks.
