Technical specificities

  • The Tissot Chemin des Tourelles is a very special piece that encapsulates an important part of Tissot's history. It takes its name from the street in Le Locle, Switzerland, where the Tissot factory was established in 1907, and where the company can still be found today. The watch compliments the company's vast years of expertise with a contemporary design with an elegant case. The Tissot Chemin des Tourelles Helvetic Pride Special Editions pay tribute to the brand's Swiss heritage. The case back resembles a Swiss franc coin and depicts Helvetia, the female national personification of Switzerland, standing proudly and surrounded by 23 stars representing the states of the Swiss Confederation. The dial also pays tribute to Switzerland, with the men's version decorated with the Swiss cross pattern and the ladies' version subtly embellished with mother-of-pearl.

  • Powermatic 80

An automatic watch is powered by the energy of the person who wears it. Wrist movement enables the mechanism to run. The Powermatic 80 movement boasts 80 hours of power reserve, which is enough to continue telling time accurately even if the watch is not worn for three days. It is an innovative movement that outperforms the competition, whose movements generally provide 1.5 days of power reserve*. *Non-contractual image

  • Water resistance

All Tissot watch cases undergo several tests, including a water resistance check. Tissot tests the watch's ability to resist impacts and pressure, as well as the penetration of liquids, gas and dust by replicating the real-life conditions in which the watch may find itself*. *Non-contractual image

  • Mother of pearl

Mother of pearl is formed in the depths of the sea and harbours very unique features such as iridescence and opalescence. No two specimens are alike, which gives the watch a unique character, especially for ladies watches, both on the dial and on other elements*. *Non-contractual image
